We started Muddy Meadow because our family always believed the outdoors feels better when you’re properly equipped to enjoy it. After moving from Bath to the Chew Valley—and carrying with me the rugged, practical mindset we grew up with outdoors in New Zealand— we wanted to create clothing and gear that could handle real weather and all sorts of adventures. So as a family we took the plunge and started our own brand.
Childhoods were spent on dairy farms, exploring the bush in gumboots, and those early experiences shaped everything I make today. Now we live in the British countryside on a 14th‑century property with our two Labradors and our faithful Land Rover Defender. The meadow outside my home is where I walk, think, and dream up what comes next for Muddy Meadow.
